For the 2026 Inlander Summer Camps cover, my core concept was capturing the feeling of camping beneath a beautiful summer sunset. The warm coral and golden palette drives that atmosphere throughout the piece, evoking the kind of long, glowing evening that defines the summer camp experience. Typography was my primary focus, and most notably I integrated the peak of a mountain directly into the letter 'A' in 'CAMPS,' blurring the line between type and illustration and grounding the lettering in the landscape itself. The oversized, layered type treatment for 'SUMMER CAMPS 2026' gives the cover a bold, graphic energy while the flat illustration style featuring tents, pine trees, and a stylized sun keeps the composition approachable and playful. The design was created in Adobe Illustrator and was selected as the winning cover for the Inlander's 2026 Summer Camps issue.
